(I've started working full-time over a month ago, and I worked 240 hours in my first month. I just can't seem to get enough time to make anything anymore. )
Anyway, I felt I really need to make something out of whatever I have around, and I made this. Cut a length of wide lace (I used 6'' wide lace trim), stitch a rough run on one edge with hand sewing needle. Pull the thread tight and arrange the lace into a fan shape. (lace often have a repeat pattern, take that into consideration when you arrange the fan folds). Spray the fan with starch water or hairspray and let it dry. Glue a comb and some red roses onto the fan and it's ready to wear as a peineta-style comb.
