I really like the idea of multiple dangles hanging from a flower like the one on the left. when I saw this iron-on patch (bottom left) from Hobby Lobby I knew I could make it into a hair clip. I removed the lace because I think they are distracting and glued a clip on the bottom. I also played with the idea of clipping it on to a record and wear the record as a 50's looking hat.
I also thought about attaching a tiny veil. Russian netting (some call it French netting or Swiss netting, I'm not sure which is correct) are available to purchase online, but I decided to recycle and use the plastic netting bag that came with a whole spiral cut ham.
