Tagua nut is also known as vegetable ivory. They are supposed to have the same color and consistency of ivory. I don't know why mine is yellow instead of...ivory. I really have no idea what to carve out of it, and I ended up carving a face. I didn't add any color to it, the color comes from the Dremmel tool heating up and leave burn marks.
