Take a shirt with collar, it can be men's shirt, women's shirt, stained shirt, ripped shirt, old shirt, ugly shirt, gained-weight-now-too-tight shirt, etc. as long as it has a collar that fits your neck, carefully cut off the collar at the seam, but take care to not cut through the seam. Iron and starch the collar after cutting it off. The chain I added helps to weight down the pointy ends so they stay flat.
