![]() I finally found the perfect setting for the eyeballs I embellished weeks ago. It's in the shape of a globe. Add Comment ![]() A while ago ModCloth sold this dress for $44, which is quite insane considering it's nothing more than a striped tanktop and a skirt with elastic waist. ![]() I found a striped shirt on clearance for $3. I got rid of the flowers (I don't know what the designer was thinking when he/she decided to put them on in the first place). ![]() Sew some gold anchor buttons on ![]() Add a blue skirt with elastic waist. ![]() I really like the green color of Garnier Fructis bottle, so I cut an octopus shape out of it. There isn't a lot of skills involved and I could probably come up with more shapes to cut out. Since tiny elongated rice-shaped pearls are called rice pearls, I added some large red oval howlite beads as beans. All strung together ![]() While most things are cheaper if you make them yourself, sometimes the time and effort it takes is just not worth it. For example I recently bought a pack of 20 stamped metal butterflies from eBay for about $2. It would probably going to cost me a lot more time and effort to make my own die and stamp metal sheets. I made a necklace with 10 of them. (The most annoying part is removing them one by one from their individual plastic packages.) |
